Fighting for Life - Mars Opposite Pluto

Image
On April 27, 2025, we are facing the third and final opposition of Mars and Pluto at 3° of Leo and Aquarius.  When Mars and Pluto are engaged in a harsh aspect of opposition, it is like a face-off where two power players are trying to gain control. Imagine two boxers before their showdown in the ring. They're stating their position by hurling insults and threatening each other.   There is no room for pause. There is no room to catch a breath. You have to pay attention at all times otherwise your opponent takes advantage of the situation. Opposition is a push-pull relationship.  Opposition is about tension that can't be reconciled.  Opposition of Mars and Pluto brings urgency to our actions. When Mars and Pluto are involved in a tense aspect, it often feels like a survival mode – DO or DIE. Imagine unbearable pressure. It feels crushing like it's going to break you. At that moment, your instinct either kicks in and you’re going to fight for your life or you re...

Edge Walker - Aquarius

Image
We all have been, at one point, uncivilized, untamed, undifferentiated from our environment, unaware of ourselves and our individual identity. Think of the primal state of our being. A newborn baby, coming to the world, seemingly as “tabula rasa”, in its pure state, free from societal norms and expectations, just acting in accordance with its basic needs. A little prelude to today’s musing about the sign of Aquarius, archetype, that will be with us for quite some time as Pluto has recently embarked on a 20-year-long journey.  Aquarius season represents the time of winter when light is increasing in 24 hours day but darkness is still holding its power.  Aquarius is an air sign, fixed in nature. It is Saturn’s diurnal home. As such, Aquarius often represents the polarization of ideas, thoughts and attitudes. It represents mental divergence away from the center towards ideological extremes. Its ruler Saturn is also located furthest from the center of our solar syste...

He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named

Image
Are you ready? „The big P moves tomorrow?“ Lol, this is how my astro buddy commented on Pluto moving into a new sign of Aquarius last week. I immediately thought of my favorite Harry Potter series and „He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named“, „You-Know-Who“ or if we´re brave enough then „Voldemort, the Dark Lord“. When using indirect references, it is obvious who we have in mind, yet it sounds a lot less scary.  We often assume that if we avoid calling things by their real name when we avoid the uncomfortable spaces and they stay undefined that they will be somehow diminished. We fear that if we give them our attention and make them concrete, they will become more real and have more power over us.    From my experience, the opposite is true. Our taboo, Plutonian spaces won’t disappear from our lives when they are ignored. If we pretend like the darkness does not exist, if we try to dilute it, it slowly starts gaining more power over us. It turns into an insatiable beast that slo...
