Wild Dreamscapes of Fallen Virgins - Lunar Nodes in Pisces & Virgo

Image
This month, lunar nodes shifted from Aries - Libra to Pisces - Virgo. After 18,5 years, we have a North Node in Pisces and a South Node in Virgo.    Imagine sitting in a bathtub, having your blissful spa time, candles burning, soft music playing, and water infused with precious essential oils that let you forget about the outside world. You´re just present in a moment, dreaming, indulging your senses.  But then comes the moment when you need to get back to reality, pull out the bath plug and let the water drain. Sitting in the bathtub now feels stressful. You hear the noise of water draining and you see the water level is going down. It feels like your energy is leaking like you´re gonna be sucked into that drain even though it doesn't make sense rationally.  As the water level drops, you start seeing icky stuff that your body left behind on the bottom of the tub. You better get out before the water runs out.    After this divine experience, you have no men...

Secret Sisterhood - Virgo&Scorpio

Image
When we look at signs of Virgo and Scorpio through a superficial lens of pop astrology, we might label Virgo as the most predictable, boring sign and Scorpio as the most intense and often the coolest one. When we look deeper though, we can quickly see how much these seemingly complete opposites have in common. They are both feminine yin signs however they both represent a challenging placement when it comes to traditional feminine topics like love, relationships, pleasure and nurturing.  Virgo and Scorpio are placements where Venus and Moon, the planets that represent these topics, have their fall. Venus also struggles in Scorpio and a great benefic, Jupiter, which is often linked to the proliferation of life and fertility, is in its detriment in Virgo. Venus, Moon and Jupiter in general symbolize conditions that are safe and supportive for life.  Virgo and Scorpio are fall sisters. They share a mysterious bond. They inhabit the time of the solar year when dark feminine...

Virgo - Last Days of Summer

Image
Imagine a soft cool color palette - cool blue, sage green, lavender, dusty pink, soft yellow, ash brown… Imagine a cool misty morning in the garden - there's something magical about it. The scene looks fuzzy and unrefined like it was painted in the impressionist style.  Imagine a perfect sunny day in September. The sun is warm and soothing, it lacks its intensity.    Virgo season comes at the time when slow summer days are giving way to a busy hectic fall energy of schedules, spreadsheets, deadlines and responsibilities - the melancholy of the last days of summer, the excitement of the 1st school day, this is the Virgo season. The vitality of the sun is declining. Virgo marks the division between the seasons – summer and fall but it also signifies the onset of the dark part of the year when days are getting shorter and we´re slowly drawing into the comfort of our homes, turning our attention inwards. Change of seasons. The uncertainty of what’s to come. The ending of...

NO Fluffy Stuff

Image
Yeah, yeah, yeah, “winged, double-bodied, harvest Maiden, angel caught in the material form”, right, but there is so much to do!!! OMG, I need a plan, I need to  sort out this massive heap and make sense of this all. As long as I get organized, I find a way. Let’s go! WAIT - what’s this? LOVE?! I don’t have time for this nonsense in the first place. Hmmm, all right, all right, maybe I can work this out, make it manageable somehow. Ok, he seems reasonable - maybe we can give it a try. We just need to make sure we don’t get out of control here. That's the last thing I need right now. He “enjoys our time together”, hmmm, interesting, he “loves me” - that’s nice. He “needs more affection”, “I seem a bit uptight”. What does he mean?! Let’s just be real here for a moment.  I sacrifice ALL this time that I could spend doing LOT more useful stuff, knocking things off my to-do list (YES!) than walking around, holding hands. This is waayyy out of my comfort zone already.  We...

Little World of Virgo Perversions

Image
Yesterday, Mercury initiated the journey through his home territory. The sign of Virgo is the place I call home as well. I thought I let you have a peek into the little Virgo world. I feel like thoughts must be recorded, anchored in the physical medium in order to stick. I'm a bit obsessive about note-making and my preferred medium is paper. I feel like the physical act of writing helps me to sort out my thoughts, to efficiently process the information. In fact, I’ve always had to make my own notes to learn anything. By the time I was done writing them, I had a pretty good grasp of the topic I was studying. I feel incomplete and anxious without a daily planner at my side. Most of the time, it is stuffed with different scraps of paper filled with quotes, insights, tasks, ideas. The cover is embellished with an array of sticky notes. Their location is a clear indication of their utmost importance. I am a bit perverted about reorganizing them, rewriting them onto a less worn-out sheet...
