Venus in Taurus
On May 28th, 2022, Venus departed from the fiery temple of Mars and entered her comforting home of Taurus where she stays until June 22, 2022.
The sign of Taurus is the earthy home of Venus and a place of the Moon’s exaltation. Venus and Moon, both feminine planets, are symbolizing topics connected to women, relationships, children, fertility, comfort, joy, nourishment, sensual pleasures, and bodily matters.
Venus and Moon are also planets of a nocturnal sect, representing things we tend to do when the sun goes down, when our work is done for a day. When we go back home to rest and relax, spend time with our loved ones, go out for a drink with friends or maybe enjoy the crackling of the fire on our own. They are with us at night when we stargaze, make love, or while we're asleep, traveling through our dreamscapes.
The nature of these planets naturally tends toward our personal, private sphere of our life, towards what’s close and dear to our heart, what nourishes our roots in our everyday comings and goings.
Feminine, yin principle, innate to both of these planets, is characterized by slowness. It represents things that need time to be developed, things that are more concerned with the process rather than the end result, things that need our care and loving attention.
Moon is also related to fortune while Venus is a bringer of good fortune. This could be seen as what we are receiving, what is coming to us rather than something we actively pursue, the areas of life that are out of our control, what comes and goes, gifts that are being offered to us to be enjoyed at the moment.
The sign of Taurus
Dewdrop shimmering in the morning light
The sweet scent of roses
Lush gardens of Eden
The embodiment of living life to its fullest
Keep hope alive, keep dreaming.
