Bring Your Spirit Down - Jupiter & Uranus

As a mankind, we spend way too much time thinking our noble thoughts, drafting grand plans, and looking for solutions up in the sky while forgetting our humble earthly nature. 

When anticipating major astrological events, we often tend to overfocus on a short time window looking for something extraordinary and fantastical that will catapult us into a completely different reality. Transits never happen in a vacuum though and they always have a history. Let´s just approach this in a „simple“ Taurean manner. 
​This upcoming conjunction is an important exclamation point within Uranus's slow March through the sign of Taurus. Have a look at the topics of your Taurus house. Where have you been since 2018 when Uranus first ingressed into this earth sign? What was your starting point? What was the lay of the land then? What have been the prominent themes since 2018? What has been shaken at the core for you? Where have been the most dramatic earthquakes? What got totally demolished? What have you gained from these often violent shifts? Imagine your 2018 self looking at your revamped solid-hoofed 2024 version. Would you be even able to imagine the transformation you went through back then? 
Now let´s rewind back to May 2023 when Jupiter entered Taurus. What developments have you noticed in the Taurus area of your chart? Where have you felt a need to take things slow and steady, to lay a solid foundation? What experiences made you feel happy in your body in the past year? What brought you real joy? What were the moments when you realized „Yes, I need more of this! It makes me feel alive“!

"Bring your spirit down" is not about feeling low. It is actually about feeling high on life down here on earth. That‘s where the Taurean revolution lies. To bring the heavenly down to earth. That’s what the Moon, the exaltation ruler of Taurus does. It brings the spirit down to people, down to this incredible home we call planet Earth. 
 
Taurus represents the life and its sustenance. It demands standards in order for life to grow. Having standards is a necessity. Having standards is showing your self-respect to others so that they know where to meet you. It is a baseline that you don't go below. You don't settle for less. You don't compromise your values or beliefs. You stay true to who you are. Standards are about living a good life, and feeling happy and nourished. Standards are your happy solid ground. 

The upcoming conjunction of Jupiter and Uranus is the beginning of a new cycle. It is a powerful birth of a new life that has been gestating in your life for a while. Imagine that newborn baby full of promise. You know what the gestation was about but you have no idea what that baby brings to your life. It is too early to tell. Don’t burden your baby with your expectations.
 
Keep your eyes open when taking in your luscious Taurean garden. Uranus initiates aliveness and brings a great spark of life to what has been inanimate. Jupiter promotes and sustains life. Imagine Uranus and Jupiter being possessed by life, imagine them creating liveliness to where things just existed. 

What if the revolution lies in revamping our relationship with the matter, acknowledging that Matter is sacred as it carries life? It is where it all started for us. We are all living material life in a material body. 
For us humans, our body is the only material thing we come to this world with. The body allows for our existence but often we treat it as a mechanical object rather than an intelligent living organism that we can never outsmart. It is our earth. It is a garden that we need to tend so that it doesn’t get compacted. 
 
We were taught that the human in us makes us somehow privileged and superior to other forms of life. What if we stay low with our feet firmly on the ground? What about if the revolution is in slowing down enough so that we can actually notice LIFE and acknowledge the inherent worth of other life forms?  
 
What if the revolution is about finding a real value in being a human, loving our earthly life, and realizing that our real power is our connection to human and nonhuman life on Earth?
