Echoes From the Past - Saturn&Neptune ♓ &Uranus ♉
We´re back. It seems like the ground has shifted in the past few weeks. We find ourselves in the familiar terrain, terrain that we traversed heavily in the winter and spring of this year. I´ll be dropping dates here and there, but the timeline is not important. What matters is our humane experience.
On September 1, Saturn returned back to Pisces. Saturn is bringing back the lessons we’ve taken a break from at the end of May. At the time, it felt like we had reached the limit. We assumed it’s done once and for all. But it’s not. Not yet. A Piscean story in our lives needs some distance and time. And this is where Saturn comes in as the lord of necessity, limits, and time. Time provides much-needed space for pause, reflection, and appreciation for what we´ve been through.
We've been in this space before; we know this, yet it feels somewhat different now. So much has happened in between. New has been a theme of the summer months. We had a chance to enter new, exciting worlds and dream about new lands in the future. We've been moving in a fast lane. It's hard to imagine that just a few months have passed since. We can´t erase the knowledge, experience, and insight we´ve gained. We've changed.
It feels like we're forced to return from a new world, take a much-needed break, and get back to uncomfortable familiarity.
We thought we had it all figured out - we're behind it, we're in a different stage of life now, but no, this story is not over yet. We need to finish what was left on the back burner.
And there is more.
On October 22, Neptune is coming back to Pisces
On November 8, Uranus is coming back to Taurus
Slow-moving planets bring major energy shifts both on the collective and personal level.
All these slow-moving planets that changed their sign in spring/summer are moving from masculine signs back to feminine signs.
This feels like a grand déjà vu. We might have intense flashbacks into the past, memories, and insight coming with regards to what was happening in our lives at the beginning of this year.
This is the time to go through the same situations again, but handle them differently if we want to move on in the areas of our lives ruled by Pisces and Taurus. We’re in a different space now, we know better – but will we go for the less comfortable/automatic option this time?
Pisces and Taurus, water and earth. These are feminine signs and elements, connected to the Moon and Venus.
They bring an emphasis on lunar and venusian topics: physical and emotional body, love, care and nurturing, feeling safe and comfortable in ourselves and our environment. This significant shift also brings focus on relationships and the greater communities we´re part of.
Feminine energy is slow, process-oriented, and directed inwards. This period is not about external achievements. It is about internal growth that precedes new expansion. It is about giving ourselves a breathing room and a space for reflection.
As the planets are shifting back to their previous sign, we will be forced to revisit old stories in our lives and see where we´re standing in our way and what we need to leave behind to close old chapters.
Compared to the winter/spring of this year, there is a lot of support for our efforts. Jupiter, the great benefic, is now in a powerful condition of exaltation, in the sign of Cancer. It provides support to Pisces by trine and to Taurus by sextile.
The dominance of feminine energy allows for softening of blockages and smoothing hard edges within our physical and emotional bodies, the same way water gradually turns rocks into sand.
This is the best time to do hard things. We are supported in making major changes in our lives that require lots of emotional courage. Breakthroughs are on the horizon, but they are not about forceful actions but rather about surrendering to the process.
This time of the year is about processing. It is about diving deep into our emotions and healing the aches and pains of the past. It is about doing the mature thing, tying up loose ends and leaving the past behind us.
This fall features a lot of watery supportive energy. It brings rising tides that can lift us up if we trust the process. This is an important incubation period for new growth and expansion that is coming back in spring 2026.
Think back to the end of May through the end of August of this year. What new fires have been lit? What new dreams and desires came to your life? They might have felt too big and overwhelming at the time, but you knew you would be back, stronger…
Clean up the emotional gunk of the past that is holding you back. Have the difficult conversations that you’ve been avoiding. Ask for help if you need it. This is a great time to join forces with other people.
Trust me, there is a plenty of novelty and individual action in the future.
Take this time to rest, dream, and prepare for what’s coming.
You will thank yourself that you did.
Keep hope alive, keep dreaming.
Petra
